A Little Bit About Us
Early in 2004, a popcorn buff and his wife began looking for a healthy snack for their children. Finding nothing around, they began to experiment in the family kitchen.
When John Walys, a qualified naturopath and wife Ravit, a designer, road tested their new popcorn on the kids with great success, they knew they were onto something. And after many late nights and burnt saucepans, Cobs popcorn was born.

From that first batch, the rules have remained the same.

Cobs Original lightly salted, slightly sweet popcorn snack was first to go into production, with its unique balance of corn, sunflower oil, raw sugar and sea salt. Since then, it has been joined on the shelves by newer Sea Salt and Wild Spice varieties, as well as the first of the natural Classic range.
Today, John and Ravit are continuing to develop new flavours. Their aim is to convert even the most hardened popcorn skeptic with scrumptious snacks that offer a healthy alternative and taste great.
